The Gaming Wiki Network, or GWN, was founded on October 21, 2022 by 11 members and 3 affiliates. The GWN is a network of independently-hosted wikis about video game franchises and aims to support all gaming communities in building independently-hosted wikis. The GWN has 22 members and 6 affiliates at present.

September 5, 2024: The Cyberflix Wiki joins the GWN as a member.

December 21, 2022: PaRappa.party becomes an affiliate of the GWN.

November 21, 2022: SEIWA becomes an affiliate of the GWN.

October 21, 2022: The GWN is relaunched with 11 founding members and 3 affiliates. The founding members are the JiggyWikki, Conker Wiki, Rare Wiki, Triforce Wiki, Crash Bandicoot Wiki, Spyro Wiki, Final Fantasy Wiki, Wiki of Mana, Speedrunwiki.com, SaGa Wiki, and MediEvil Wiki (now Gallowpedia). It is affiliated with the Arthur Wiki, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Wiki, and SpongeBob Wiki. A new logo is made and the wiki footer is updated.
